Responsibilities

Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)Provide companionship and emotional supportSupport community integration and participation in recreational activitiesAssist with meal preparation and light housekeepingPromote independence while ensuring safety and well-beingDocument services and client progress accuratelyFollow individualized care plans and behavioral support plans as neededMaintain a positive, respectful, and professional relationship with clients and families

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience as a Direct Support Professional, Behavioral Health Technician, or CNA preferred but not requiredReliable transportationAbility to pass required background screeningsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and dependable personalityAbility to work independently and as part of a team
