Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Driver to join our team! As the Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the van while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate has a Driver’s License and previous experience as a driver or has completed driver's training. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Pick up and drop off special needs individuals at designated locations
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner
Engage with individuals and family members in a friendly and courteous manner
Qualifications
Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Ability to follow GPS directions
Please note this job involves a split shift from 6:00 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You will be transporting individuals with special needs and must have experience working with them or have provided transportation for special needs individuals.
