This role supports store leadership and focuses on delivering a consistent positive customer experience while upholding store standards and company values.Responsibilities Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience; maintain in-store experience by modeling Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and directing associate actions to achieve store goals and KPIs. Respond to customer and associate requests with a high sense of urgency.Maintain store standards and complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning, recovery, and maintenance.Review daily communication, plan and assign tasks, and follow through with required actions.Meet metric-based goals by understanding daily progress, communicate business trends to leadership, and leverage inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentations.Complete processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.; work with the store leadership team to follow all policies and procedures.Supervise and participate in inventory activities (freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, MOOS) and manage omni-channel activities (Charge/Send, Buy Online Pick Up In Store).Ensure a safe environment for customers and associates; ensure equipment is in good operating condition and address associate and customer concerns quickly.Support payroll and timekeeping activities; provide feedback to the Store Manager on associate performance and escalate issues as needed.Provide training, coaching and guidance to Store Leads and associates; perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Co-Manager.Required Skills Excellent customer service with professionalism, positivity and enthusiasm.Ability to develop collaborative working relationships; strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to move with tempo and hold the team accountable to meet time-bound expectations.Availability to meet business needs including nights, weekends, holidays, and unconventional shifts.Proficiency with technology for customer interactions (Register, Register Keyboard, iPhone, Calculator).Ability to stand or walk for up to 100% of working time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally to frequently; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling as needed.Experience Minimum 2 years of management experience.Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries Retail#J-18808-Ljbffr
