The Collins Aerospace; Digital Technology Program Management Team is currently searching for seasoned Project Management professionals who can work independently supporting the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for digital technology projects.

Individuals will start primarily remote but must report to a Collins Aerospace domestic location for future hybrid work.

This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins' major facilities.

What YOU will do:

  • Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the project plan and scope, in conjunction with the company's commitments and customer expectations.

  • Define deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.

  • Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.

  • Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.

  • Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.

  • Apply project management principles including project financial management, scope and schedule management, risk and opportunity management, critical problem solving, variance and root cause analysis techniques to ensure on time delivery of product capabilities that meet customer requirements.

  • Escalation of issues, along with proposed plan, to leadership

  • Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.

  • Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.

  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.

Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Experience with project management oversight of infrastructure, security and software development initiatives.

  • Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working in a government and/or manufacturing environment

SAP / ERP .

  • M&A Project Experience.

  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
