Job Summary:Assessment, counseling, education and a wide range of therapeutic interventions for the treatment and rehabilitation of those clients with a dual diagnosis of psychiatric illness and substance abuse. Qualifications:Education, formal training and clinical experience working with dual-diagnosed clients. Masters degree in a related human service field. LCAS (licensed clinical addictions specialist)required upon hire. At least two years of experience to include experience in psychiatry as well as substance abuse. Considerable knowledge of the diagnostic criteria of mental illness/substance abuse as well as appropriate therapeutic intervention used in the treatment and rehabilitation process. Understanding of group therapy, AA, NA, and 12-steps. Computer knowledge and good communication skills essential. Must maintain BLS certification. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
