Job Summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for the Dual Enrollment Culinary Arts Instructor position at Fayette Ware High School. This position will follow the academic calendar of the Fayette Ware High School System.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-issued Career and Technical Education teaching certificate and food safety credentials required.
• Three (3) years of current work experience as a culinary professional or teaching experience in a commercial kitchen environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deliver engaging lessons on culinary techniques, baking, nutrition, and international cuisines.
• Supervise safe and sanitary commercial kitchen operations.
• Track academic progress, evaluate cooking practical, and develop employment skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to maintain a positive, safe, and controlled learning environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge of food science, sanitation standards, and commercial kitchen equipment.
