Dual Group Sales Manager

As a Dual Group Sales Manager, you are responsible for identifying and developing target accounts, as well as nurturing existing client relationships to meet or exceed individual sales goals for revenue, ADR, and group business for three Select Service hotels inthe Atlanta market. The role involves proactive sales activities such as outside calls, trade shows, and site visits within your assigned market. Building long-lasting, trusting relationships with clients, GSOs, and peers is essential. Additionally, you must understand your role in achieving the hotel's overall financial success. Hotels include Aloft Savannah, Downtown and The Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah, Downtown.

Essential job duties include exceeding established monthly, quarterly, and annual targeted sales goals, maintaining an active list of target accounts to ensure continuous relationship development, establishing new client relationships and maintaining existing relationships to maximize revenue, actively soliciting new business opportunities through prospecting target client lists, seeking methods to penetrate key business activities within the market and finding profitable ways to bring this business to the hotel, responding in a timely manner to incoming group sales opportunities that are within pre-defined parameters, working collaboratively with other sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative, capturing and closing the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions, the property's needs, and within the hotel parameters, coordinating and planning all familiarization tours, in-market customer events, and site inspections—both for out-of-market and in-market accounts—ensuring thorough communication with Event Management and effective data collection to support targeted planning, while tracking bookings and leads generated from these activities, executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked, effectively resolving guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process, maintaining knowledge of and complying with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, brand guidelines, and safety and security procedures, and performing all additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and abilities include strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment, participating in establishing goals and objectives for department, strategic planning skills; ability to translate financial concepts into actionable business strategies and tactics, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions, understanding and aligning with the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel, prioritizing tasks, working efficiently with limited supervision, and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, communicating effectively in the primary workplace language, demonstrating excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills, working well under pressure and in challenging conditions, using good judgment to resolve problems, follow directions, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience in an area or market role preferably with Marriott and Hilton brand knowledge. Additional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently, ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
