    Description

    ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Duck Creek Clarity Analyst / Developer to design, build, and deliver robust reporting solutions and data architectures. In this role, you will work closely with business teams, insurance subject matter experts, and technical architects to transform complex insurance data into actionable insights across Claims, Policy, Billing, Finance, and Data Foundation domains.

You will act as a key technical hands-on contributor, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while helping drive enterprise-level data and analytics initiatives.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Design, build, and optimize high-performance reporting solutions using Duck Creek Clarity across Claims, Policy, Billing, Finance, or Data Foundation modules.
    • Develop complex SQL queries, data pipelines, and analytics transformations using Snowflake to support downstream reporting and BI tools.
    • Build automated data integration workflows and transformation pipelines leveraging tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or dbt.
    • Design, implement, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to enable data-driven business decision-making.
    • Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements and data governance rules.
    • Perform data modeling and mapping to align Duck Creek data structures with analytical and enterprise reporting environments.
    • Support end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, execution oversight, issue triage, and resolution.
    • Work closely with business teams, data engineers, QA specialists, and architects to ensure alignment between business goals and delivered solutions.
    • Assist in defining data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and operational reporting practices.
    • Provide continuous support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Duck Creek Clarity data solutions and BI dashboards.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Must-Have

    • 1–2 years of hands-on experience working directly with Duck Creek Clarity (Claims, Policy, Billing, Finance, or Data Foundation).
    • Strong, proven proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
    • Hands-on experience developing dashboards, data models, and reports in Power BI.
    • Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or dbt.
    • Demonstrated track record in Data Modeling, Requirements Gathering, and providing end-to-end UAT Support.

    Technical Depth

    • Solid working knowledge of insurance industry data models and domain workflows (Claims, Policy, Billing).
    • Practical understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional data modeling (Kimball methodology).
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and software management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

    Preferred Certifications

    • Snowflake Certified Associate / Core Certification
    • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-200 / DP-203)
    • Relevant Duck Creek Clarity certifications or training completion

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Hands-on experience or exposure to Duck Creek Insights.
    • Prior consulting or System Integrator (SI) experience working in property and casualty (P&C) insurance environments.
    • Exposure to modern software development workflows, CI/CD for data, and git-based version control systems.
