    About the Role:
    PART-TIMEBI-LINGUAL SPANISH COUNSELORS ONLY.:  Join Neighborhood House Of North Richmond as a DUI & Substance Abuse Counselor, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the Richmond community while working with a dedicated team of professionals.
    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients dealing with DUI and substance abuse issues.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred
    • Current certification or licensure as a substance abuse counselor.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
    • Strong understanding of DUI laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations bs staff.
    • Compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
    • Proficient in record-keeping and documentation practices.
