The Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery and the Duke Cancer Institute at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist to join one of the nation's premier academic breast programs.

Qualified applicants must have completed fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology and be eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina. • The successful candidate will join a high-volume breast surgery practice committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care and provide outstanding comprehensive breast surgical care. It is anticipated that this position will consist primarily of clinical activities.
  • Clinical practice includes both academic and community-based locations within the Duke Health system and may involve providing care at more than one clinical site.
  • The successful candidate will participate fully in the clinical, educational, and academic missions of the Division through excellence in patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers, and participation in quality improvement and other scholarly activities.

  • Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

Duke offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including an outstanding retirement program, tuition assistance for dependent children, relocation support, and access to exceptional professional development resources. The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region consistently ranks among the nation's best places to live, offering outstanding public and private schools, world-class universities, a vibrant cultural and culinary scene, professional and collegiate sports, and the innovation-rich environment of Research Triangle Park.
