2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm
Pay: $16/hr + $2.25/hr shift premium
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Dunnage Sorter to support dock operations. This role focuses on sorting, inspecting, and managing dunnage materials to keep dock activity running smoothly and safely. The right person will be comfortable with hands-on, physical work and working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and organize dunnage materials by type and condition.
- Inspect materials for damage and report issues to supervision.
- Load and unload dunnage from trucks and storage areas.
- Keep the dock area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with basic inventory tracking and documentation.
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures at all times.
- Work closely with other dock team members to maintain steady workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in warehouse, dock, or material handling work is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and basic organizational skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and work well within a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed.
Work Environment
This is a physically active role based on a dock setting. The position involves standing, bending, lifting, and repeated movement throughout the shift, with some exposure to outdoor conditions.
