Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Go (Golang), Java, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and JWT-based authentication and a proven ability to design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go and Java.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume applications.
- Integrate applications with Java-based services using JWT-based authentication and authorization.
- Develop and maintain web application components using JavaScript.
- Design and optimize data models, queries, and integrations with PostgreSQL and Couchbase.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance, reliability, and security improvements.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and Java.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong JavaScript development experience.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Couchbase.
- Experience implementing JWT-based authentication and authorization patterns.
- Understanding of distributed systems, API security, and application integration.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with containers and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
- Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
