Translate functional designs into technical designs, estimates, development tasks, test evidence, and deployable solutions.
Develop X++ extensions, classes, tables, forms, data entities, services, workflows, batch processes, reports, and security artifacts.
Build and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, custom services, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
Deliver data migration and recurring integrations using Data Management Framework and data entities.
Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, performance tuning, release packaging, and production issue resolution.
Support Azure DevOps source control, CI/CD, environment management, application updates, regression testing, and deployment documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of ERP technical consulting or development, including 5+ years across D365 F&O or Dynamics AX.
Multiple full-lifecycle implementations, upgrades, integrations, or major enhancement programs.
Independent technical ownership from design through deployment and production support.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Advanced X++, Visual Studio, extensions, Chain of Command, event handlers, SysOperation, batch, workflow, and role-based security.
D365 F&O and AX data models, services, DMF, OData, REST, SSRS, Electronic Reporting, and Power BI.
Azure integration services, Microsoft Entra ID authentication, Azure DevOps, Git, build automation, and release management.
Ability to assess AX customizations and define upgrade, remediation, or replacement approaches.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure development.
AX 2012 code-upgrade, retail, multi-company, performance, or managed-services experience.
