Primary Purpose: Provide dyslexia evaluation support and intervention to students who are eligible. Implement a structured, sequential, multi-sensory curriculum for teaching reading and written language skills to students identified with dyslexia.

Qualifications: Education/Certification:

• Bachelors degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate grade level certification
• Evidence of approved dyslexia teacher training

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of dyslexia and related disorders
• Knowledge of current state and federal dyslexia laws
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Experience:

• Three years teaching experience

Salary: Teacher / 10 Months
