Job Title: E-Coat Machine Operator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime: Fridays and Saturdays as production needs dictate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated E-Coat Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring the E-Coat production line, ensuring quality standards are met, performing routine machine adjustments, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor E-Coat production equipment throughout the shift
- Load and unload parts onto the production line
- Inspect coated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency
- Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality
- Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to maintenance and supervision
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping around the work area
- Follow production schedules while meeting daily output goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
