We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Director to join our client's team in Houston, TX. This position will lead the day-to-day management and growth of the company's e-commerce operations, including website performance, digital merchandising, paid media initiatives, email marketing, and online customer experience.
 
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience managing Shopify, analyzing performance data, and driving revenue through digital channels. Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Full-time, direct hire opportunity (not a temporary position)
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day management and optimization of the company's Shopify e-commerce platform
• Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies to enhance the online shopping experience and drive revenue growth
• Manage website content, product presentation, collections, navigation, and merchandising initiatives
• Oversee product listings, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, imagery, and digital content across the website
• Manage and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels while monitoring performance and return on investment
• Develop and execute email marketing initiatives focused on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Analyze website performance, customer behavior, campaign metrics, and digital marketing data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and marketing strategies
• Identify opportunities to improve website functionality, conversion rates, SEO performance, and the overall customer journey
• Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations that improve online sales, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
• Stay current on emerging e-commerce technologies, digital marketing trends, and industry best practices
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field required
• 2+ years of experience managing Shopify in an e-commerce environment
• Experience managing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Pinterest advertising campaigns
• Strong understanding of e-commerce merchandising, search engine optimization (SEO), and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business recommendations
• Excellent written communication, copywriting, and editing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data management tools
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting premium consumer brands, luxury retail, lifestyle brands, or high-end merchandising environments is highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
