JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Jewelry Lister is to sort, evaluate, prepare, photograph, and list jewelry items to be sold online. The Jewelry Lister maintains accuracy and efficiency of sorting and evaluating merchandise while achieving production goals set by management.

Starting Pay: $14.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Punctual and dependable attendance.
• Comply with Agency policies and Donated Goods E-Commerce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the Agency’s safety and security policies and procedures.
• Sort, evaluate, and identify the value of jewelry pieces that meet the criteria to be sold on E-Commerce site.
• Perform proper testing for all jewelry to determine value, gems, and precious metal content.
• Ensure quality of merchandise and pre-sort pieces for appropriate disposition.
• Monitor and maintain overall E-commerce department appearance, including cleanliness of facility and housekeeping to Agency standards.
• Research specialty items to ensure proper descriptions on all items listed.
• Meet or exceed daily sorting goals.
• Attend all meetings and training as required by the Agency.
• Ensure quality of merchandise and proper listing process
• Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a positive manner with co-workers and management.
• Abide by the policies and procedures set forth by management.
• Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or GED.
• 6 months of online selling experience and / or in an auction environment that involved the sales of collectible items is preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must pass a Goodwill approved criminal background check.
• Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
• Reliable transportation and communication, required.
• Bilingual a plus.

• This work is physical and requires the following activities: Standing, walking, twisting, bending, grabbing and reaching for long periods of time; occasional squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• The ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance.
• Employee is required to operate a computer and handle donated goods.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Works in climate-controlled warehouse environment most of time but will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt, and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.
• Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule includes days, evenings, holidays and blackout periods, weekends may be required.
• Works up to 30 hours per week.
• Moderate noise level.
• Occasional travel required.
