Ecommerce Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced eCommerce Manager with a strong background in managing Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing the company's ecommerce strategy across all ecommerce, achieving annual sales growth targets, and enhancing the digital shopping experience. They oversee the development, management, and optimization of ecommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Ecommerce Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, maximize conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in eCommerce management, and customer engagement.

Reports to: VP of Ecommerce

Location: Charleston, SC, in-office

Responsibilities

  • Site Performance & Analytics
    • Create goals and deliver results against annual ecommerce forecasts and budgets (sales goals, conversion metrics, and operational expenses)
    • Utilize data analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
    • Continuously monitor site metrics, making data-driven decisions to refine strategies and improve performance, with focus on revenue growth.
    • Develop and implement a web content strategy for search engine optimization. Generate insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform improvements.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
    • Identify and implement strategies to increase online sales and average order value.
    • Monitor sales trends and develop action plans to address any issues or capitalize on opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the product development team to align inventory with customer demand.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on eCommerce performance and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing an eCommerce platform, with a focus on Shopify.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
