E-Commerce Warehouse Crew Member

DESCRIPTION
The eCommerce Warehouse Crew Member is an entry level position in our warehouse. They perform essential duties related to picking, packing, and shipping online orders as well as receiving and processing inbound freight. Individual will be performing tasks in multiple systems with focus on delivering product to the customer in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow directions for tasks assigned by Warehouse Manager and/or Team Leader
• Pick, pack, and ship orders with accuracy
• Receive and locate inbound freight in the warehouse
• Quality control products matching picked products with orders, validating, and prepping for the packing stations
• Pack boxes, utilizing good judgement and following guidelines set by manager to protect products efficiently and cost-effectively
• Use applicable software to weigh packages and print shipping labels, being mindful of shipping rates and bringing attention to manager when costs are excessive
• May be asked to work overtime in season.
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Self-starter
• Time-management
• Attention to detail and thorough follow-up
• Can work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work without constant supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Duties can be physically demanding
• May stand for up to 8 hours on concrete flooring
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Non-temperature-controlled warehouse – it can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter
• Shared work spaces
• Moderate noise level
• May be requested to work overtime and/or weekends during peak season
