Chemours is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our growing Facilities Maintenance team. This position will be available at the Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, DE, and report directly to the Engineering, Maintenance & Quality Manager.
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems that support laboratory and pilot-scale operations. This position is responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of equipment in a dynamic R&D environment.
Working within a fast-paced, research-driven setting, the technician will support both standard and custom-built systems, partnering closely with engineers, scientists, and operations teams to maintain safe, efficient, and highly adaptable lab operations. This role reports directly to the Engineering, Maintenance & Quality Manager and supports the Discovery Hub, with occasional work at the Experimental Station Laboratories and the Elkton-Tenzing sites, requiring flexibility across locations.
