Position is full-time, dayshift. Using the current designated coding system(s), the coder will apply hospital approved coding rules and regulations to assign E&M codes and injection/infusion codes that appear in the context of all medical records at Springhill Medical Center.
Validation of high school diploma or equivalent required. Preferably a graduate from an approved Health Information Management Program with credentials of RHIT or RHIA. Minimum 1-year experience in an HIM/Coding/Charging Environment.
