E/M Quality Inspector

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Electronic Quality Inspector with 6 plus year doing Quality Control. Need someone who can work in fast paced manufacturing environment. This is a Temp-Direct job in Sun Valley, CA All candidates must be ITAR compliant.


Salary Range: $25.00-31.00 HR DOE


Job Description:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-rate manufacturing environment and possess a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. This position will report to the Quality Manager and work closely with the MRB team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Work efficiently in a high-rate manufacturing environment.
• Understand and apply basic Manufacturing Assembly concepts and Lean Manufacturing.
• Perform 100% inspection of electronic products.
• Handle electronic component hazmat safely and effectively.
• Read, review, and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Quickly interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Supply, and Administration teams.
• Utilize experience with AS9102 FAI and AS9163 C of C review.
• Participate in the Material Review Board process.
• Conduct Internal Audits.
• Apply GD&T principles.
• Review Manufacturing work orders for discrepancies.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiently.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Trace components and parts for defect investigations.
• Conduct F.O.D. walks and identify F.O.D. hazards.
• Manage supplier quality and receiving inspections.
• Utilize AQL standards.
• Complete inspection reports with minimal guidance.
• Interpret Quality Clauses accurately.

 
Preferred Experience:
 
Quality experience in DOD/Military settings.
Interacting with DCMA, DCAA, DLA, and other military customers.
Communicating with Quality Management from major companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, etc.
 
Education and required experience:
 
High School Diploma with 6+ years of Quality Control experience.
