These gaming houses usually provide a living space and a gaming space for the players. High school coaches should be experts on the rules, strategies, and techniques of their sport, and also know about sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety. Responsibilities:Directs all aspects, areas, and components of the esports team. Coordinates all strategic aspects of the esports programPlanning: Planning and organizing practice sessions, and developing physical conditioning programsCoaching: Instructing athletes on the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport, and providing feedback and coaching during competitionsMotivating: Motivating players to improve and develop sportsmanshipRecruiting: Recruiting new athletes for the teamManaging: Managing equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions, and working with the athletics director to schedule facilitiesAssessing: Assessing player skills and assigning team positionsRepresenting: Representing the school in a favorable manner, and adhering to the district athletic department philosophyMentoring: Mentoring players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the gameKeeping records: Keeping records of athletes' and opponents' performances Knowledge and Skills:Demonstrated excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Ability to foster an open and welcoming environment to all student-athletes.Thorough working knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the sport.Knowledge of current and developing trends in esports technology, methodology, and techniques.Ability to effectively analyze programs and events and recommend opportunities for improvement and growth.
