General Function
The E-sports Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, programming, and student engagement related to the college's esports facility. This position will foster an inclusive and engaging environment for students to participate in casual gaming, peer-to-peer competitions, and recreational tournaments. The Esports Coordinator will work closely with Student Life staff to support student engagement, co-curricular programming, and campus community-building initiatives.
This position may require working weekends and after regular business hours.

Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the esports facility, including scheduling, student access, and supervision.
Develop and implement recreational esports programs, tournaments, and student engagement activities.
Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, regardless of gaming experience.
Manage esports equipment, software, and facility resources, including troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
Collaborate with Student Life staff to integrate esports programming into broader student engagement initiatives.
Support student-led esports clubs or interest groups and provide guidance on club management.
Develop and enforce community guidelines promoting sportsmanship, wellness, and respectful conduct.
Track participation, program metrics, and student engagement outcomes to assess impact.
Serve as the primary liaison for esports-related events and partnerships, both on and off campus.
Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to increase student awareness and participation.
Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to programs, events, and equipment inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
