Manages, maintains, and provides technical support for all Government-furnished Electronic Tools (E-Tools) used by aircraft maintenance personnel. Ensures E-Tools are operational, software is current, and all records and reports are accurate and on time. This involves implementing computer applications and solutions; upgrading or enhancing existing programs. Handles moderately complex issues and problems.
Responsibilities
E‑Tools Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's electronic tools, systems, and platforms that enable daily operations, communication, and productivity. This role blends administrative support with technical oversight, ensuring that tools are secure, efficient, and accessible to users.
System Maintenance & Support: Install, configure, and maintain electronic tools, software, and platforms used across departments.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve outages promptly.
Ensure security, backups, and redundancy strategies are in place.
Keep an inventory of IT assets and ensure they are maintained properly.
Communicate system updates, maintenance schedules, and security alerts to users.
User Management:
Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for intranets, databases, and collaboration tools.
Serve as the functional administrator for ETIMS.
Ensure compliance with technical order and manual distribution policies.
Data & Record Management:
Maintain and update company databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
Ensure accurate data entry, storage, and retrieval for both digital and physical records.
Organizational Knowledge:
Familiarity with the specific eTool/ETIMS environment and its integration with maintenance or safety systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
U.S. citizen with valid drivers license.
Secret clearance or ability to obtain (preference given to those with clearance).
Must possess analytical abilities necessary to handle extremely complex administrative and organizational matters.
Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
Must have completed high school or equivalent.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
Proficiency in office and IT management software (e.g., MS Office, database tools).
Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and network fundamentals.
Prior experience in IT administration, technical publications, or training systems management.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
Relevant IT certifications.
