We are seeking an experienced Senior E2E Test Automation Engineer with 8 10 years of experience in software testing, automation, backend validation, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python and Java, experience with device automation frameworks such as XCUI, and the ability to independently troubleshoot and triage issues across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and supporting systems.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end validation of device features and server-side platform changes, developing and maintaining test scenarios, analyzing logs and telemetry, and providing actionable defect reports to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI, and supporting systems.
• Validate functionality of unreleased device features and server-side platform changes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scenarios.
• Investigate test failures and perform root-cause analysis and triage across the complete system stack.
• Analyze application logs, system telemetry, and diagnostic information to identify probable failure points.
• Work closely with engineering teams to provide detailed defect reports with clear reproduction steps and supporting diagnostics.
• Understand and interact with test frameworks and automation tools developed using Python and JavaScript.
• Work with device automation frameworks such as XCUI/XCUITest.
• Validate cross-system workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Independently troubleshoot issues and identify probable root causes before escalating to engineering teams.
• Validate backend services, APIs, integrations, and distributed system workflows.
• Perform database connectivity and data validation using SQL.
• Support testing of data pipelines involving technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
• Work with containerized applications and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, data engineers, and QA teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills

• 8 10 years of experience in software testing, test automation, system validation, or related engineering roles.
• Strong programming experience with Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with device automation frameworks, particularly XCUI/XCUITest.
• Strong experience in E2E testing and system-level validation.
• Ability to analyze logs, telemetry, stack traces, and diagnostic information.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience testing distributed systems and backend services.
• Understanding of backend APIs, services, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Strong SQL and database connectivity/data-access knowledge.
• Experience validating data pipelines and cross-system workflows.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Spark.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Docker/containerization.
• Ability to work with internal test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
• Strong communication and defect-reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively triage technical issues.
