Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kenosha, WI

You'll work 37.5 hours weekly, managing a manageable caseload comprised of around 11 students with speech-only needs and an additional 10-20 students with IEPs where speech is a related service. Your contributions will be crucial in helping these young learners build communication skills that will set them up for long-term success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active WI Speech Language Pathology license and DPI credential required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Prior experience in a diverse urban setting will help you connect with and better serve the student body
• Knowledge of Child Find services and current therapeutic best practices for 4K-8 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech services
• Provide both direct and indirect speech/language therapy based on students' needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary education team
• Document progress and maintain accurate case records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Support Child Find and early intervention initiatives as needed

Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, based on experience and budget.
