The Fidelity Capital Markets Business Intelligence team is looking for a DBA for upgrade and migration of business line applications. This team has a multisite presence, provides ongoing maintenance and support for 6 applications on various platforms and technologies with high concentration in Sybase, Oracle, Java, shell scripting, and Python.
Using 10+ years experience, the qualified candidate will install and configure Sybase ASE instances, plan database migration, assist in parallel testing. S/He should be able to take initiative aggressively, execute individually, and work appropriately with other infrastructure and application groups to complete the migration and testing by November 2020. The qualified candidate will also conduct performance tuning, assist with remediation of differences, and creates needed operational processes and documentation. Experience with large (6TB+) databases preferred.
