Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Mild/Moderate or Cross-Categorical teaching license (AZ Mild/Mod or Cross-Cat)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 20-25 students, providing targeted instruction based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to ensure supportive and inclusive learning environments
• Track student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain organized records in line with state and federal compliance requirements
• Offer guidance and support to paraprofessional staff to maximize student engagement
• Communicate regularly with families to discuss goals, progress, and strategies for continued growth

This role follows convenient school hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm, and Thursdays from 7:45 am to 12:45 pm — allowing for valuable work-life balance while positively impacting the lives of children.
