About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for children.
• Supervise and engage children during playtime, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Provide one-on-one attention to children, fostering their social and emotional development.
• Support classroom management and maintain a clean, organized learning space.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding child progress and needs.
• Adapt to various classroom settings and age groups as needed throughout the day.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
• Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with state regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and adults.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and schedules.
• Passion for working with young children and promoting their development.
• Background check clearance and child abuse registry check required.
