As one of the nation's fastest-growing early education organizations, we're looking for an Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist to help design engaging educational experiences that impact thousands of children, teachers, and families across our schools. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who is passionate about curriculum, enjoys writing and creating educational resources, and is ready to transition from the classroom into curriculum development while continuing to influence children's learning on a larger scale.

What You'll Do
As an Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist, you'll collaborate with our Curriculum, Learning & Development, Marketing, and Operations teams to create meaningful learning experiences that support children from infancy through school-age.

You will:
  • Develop and enhance developmentally appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional resources.
  • Ensure curriculum aligns with The Learning Experience philosophy, current research, and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Review curriculum content for quality, consistency, developmental appropriateness, and accuracy.
  • Research emerging educational trends and evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Support child assessment initiatives and curriculum improvement efforts.
  • Analyze curriculum and assessment data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Create teacher resources, implementation guides, and classroom support materials.
  • Assist with live and virtual professional development sessions.
  • Participate in curriculum pilots, implementation reviews, and educational innovation projects.
  • Monitor changes to state standards, QRIS requirements, accreditation expectations, and early learning regulations.
What You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of teaching experience in an early childhood or elementary classroom.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, or instructional materials.
  • Knowledge of Early Learning Standards and curriculum alignment.
  • Familiarity with child assessment systems and classroom documentation.
  • Experience with QRIS, NAEYC, Cognia, or other accreditation or curriculum approval processes.
  • Working knowledge of ECERS, ITERS, CLASS, SACERS, or similar quality frameworks.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar content creation tools.
Why You'll Love Working Here
You'll join a team that's passionate about improving early childhood education while helping teachers deliver exceptional classroom experiences every day. Your work will directly influence curriculum, educational quality, and the learning journey of children across hundreds of schools.

If you're ready to combine your classroom expertise with creativity, research, and curriculum innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape the future of early childhood education at The Learning Experience.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
