About the Role:
Kids 'R' Kids of Waterside in Richmond, TX is looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Teacher (our classes begin from infants to after school care) to join our dedicated team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood development standards
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children in your care
• Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the overall curriculum and center goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents
