We are looking for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Education Director to lead our program, guide our staff, and ensure the highest quality of care and education for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, as well as the ability to create a nurturing and structured environment for children under 5.
The Director will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the early childhood center, leading curriculum planning and ensuring alignment with standards and best practices, hiring, training, and mentoring staff to maintain high instructional quality, ensuring compliance with Head Start, Early Intervention, and NY State regulations, building and maintaining strong relationships with families and community partners, and managing budgets, resources, and program growth.
Qualifications include a master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, teacher certification, experience in Head Start or Early Intervention, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative and nurturing work environment.
Location: Williamsburg, NY
Type: Full-time preferred (9 AM–5 PM, flexible for 9–3 or 9–4)
Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year
