Location: The Learning Experience – River Vale, NJ
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Early Childhood Education Teacher – Twos Classroom
The Learning Experience – River Vale is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Education Teacher to support a classroom of young learners during a critical stage of growth and development. This role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences that help children build confidence, independence, communication skills, and positive social relationships.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy creating structured, hands-on learning opportunities while helping children develop strong foundations for future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines and learning experiences for young children
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration and discovery
- Foster language development, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving skills
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through daily transitions, meals, learning centers, and group activities
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and classroom updates
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
