Early Childhood Intervention Specialist - Summit Preschool Program, Multiple Openings, 2026-2027 School Year

Term: 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

• Bachelor''s Degree in Education required
• Ohio SBOE Licensure that includes preschool general education and special education (or ability to obtain) is required - if not currently dual licensed, must be eligible for supplemental or endorsement for missing element (general education or special education)
• Previous experience in working with students with special needs
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings
• Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program
• Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals
• Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth
• Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program
• All other duties as assigned

Salary: Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training.
