Early Childhood Lead Teacher

Job Description:
Zoot Adventure Learning Academy is now accepting applications for a full-time Early Childhood Lead Teacher.
The Early Childhood Lead Teacher is responsible for collaborating with the Director to plan, create, and implement a program that fulfills children's educational, developmental, cognitive, emotional and social needs. The Early Childhood Lead Teacher will develop long and short-term lesson plans based on the Creative Curriculum and philosophy of ZALA. She or he is responsible for assessing the developmental progress of the children. The Early Childhood Lead Teacher will supervise the Early Childhood Teachers and Interns assigned to his or her room. Daily communication with families is an essential responsibility of this role. Early Childhood Lead Teachers have the opportunity to arrange their classroom to reflect their personality and ZALA's approach and curriculum.
Zoot Adventure Learning Academy will provide Zoot employees and our community with a safe and trusting environment for their children to grow and explore. This on-site childcare will provide services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and will allow Zoot parents direct access to their children throughout the workday, promoting a successful work/life balance. Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:
This position requires:
High School Diploma
Certifications
Adult/Infant First Aid/AED/CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Valid State of Montana Driver License with clean driving record.
Current Immunizations:
Tetanus (within the past 10 years)
MMR (measles/mumps/rubella.)
Level 2 or higher on MT Practitioner Registry
Previous childcare experience with ages 6 weeks - 6 years old preferred.
Have excellent oral and written language skills to communicate with children and adults.
Ability to successfully pass state regulated background screening including criminal record, Child & Adult Protective Services, FBI fingerprinting, motor vehicle records, and sign a health attestation.
Willing to complete 16 hours of annual, approved training.
Or an equal combination of education and experience.
