Aspire Early Education is seeking a Bachelor-Level Social Worker to support children, families, and staff in our early childhood program. This role focuses on family support, child social-emotional development, and connecting families to community resources. Looking for someone full-time 30-40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

Family Support

  • Conduct family meetings and needs assessments
  • Provide coaching on child development, behavior, routines, and parenting
  • Connect families to community resources (healthcare, housing, food assistance, Early Intervention, behavioral health, etc.)
  • Support participation in IEP/IFSP meetings, conferences, and transition planning

Child Social-Emotional Support

  • Observe children in classroom settings
  • Identify social-emotional and developmental needs early
  • Support behavior strategies and self-regulation skills
  • Promote inclusive participation for all children

Classroom & Teacher Support

  • Provide coaching on positive behavior supports and trauma-informed practices
  • Model effective strategies for challenging behaviors
  • Support classroom environments that promote engagement and inclusion

Care Coordination

  • Collaborate with Early Intervention, schools, therapists, and community agencies
  • Support referrals and follow-up services
  • Assist with transitions into preschool, kindergarten, and specialized services

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records
  • Complete required reports and documentation
  • Follow EEC regulations, Aspire policies, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) required
  • Experience with young children and families preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of child development and family support
  • Bilingual Spanish skills a plus

Requirements

  • Pass CORI, SORI, DCF, and EEC Background Record Check (BRC)
  • Ability to work in classrooms with young children
  • Reliable transportation for community needs
  • Occasional evening availability
