Early Childhood STEM Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Teacher to inspire and educate our youngest students. As an Early Childhood STEM Teacher, you will play a crucial role in introducing our students to the exciting world of STEM through hands-on and age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a STEM curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool students ages 3-4 • Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and experimentation • Use age-appropriate technology and resources to enhance STEM learning experiences • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate STEM concepts into other areas of the curriculum • Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and STEM instruction • Attend professional development opportunities and conferences related to STEM education

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a STEM-related field, preferred • Teaching certificate or CDA preferred • Strong passion for STEM education and a deep understanding of early childhood development • Experience working with young children in an educational setting • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners • Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education • Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes

COMPENSATION:

In accordance with the Non-Union Salary Scale

Start Date: Immediately

Reports To: Webster Early Childhood Administrator
