Early Childhood Teacher Coburn Elementary School

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising/managing all classroom activities
• Effectively communicate with students and families.
• Create plans for daily activities consistent with the district's curriculum
• Foster a positive and healthy learning environment
• Ensure the classroom is kept clean and safe at all times
• Encourage creative thinking and learning
• Interact with other teachers and administrative staff as needed
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding child development and progress
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution;
• Massachusetts teacher certifiable in elementary education, grades Pre-K - 2 with and without disabilities
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Knowledge of inclusive instruction and response to intervention helpful

Salary: Unit A contract (salary range:$53,939 - $102,056)
