Job Summary
As an Early Intervention Behavior Therapist, you will work directly with young children in their homes and/or community settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Sessions are designed to be
natural, engaging, developmentally appropriate, and play-based. Rather than simply sitting at a table completing repetitive tasks, you may spend sessions playing with toys, singing songs, reading books, engaging in movement activities, practicing routines, and following the child's interests while creating meaningful learning opportunities.
You will receive training and supervision to help you implement individualized programs while maintaining a warm, supportive, and neurodiversity-affirming environment.
Candidates who are not currently RBT certified should be
interested and willing to complete the requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their caregivers
- Follow individualized treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA

- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and feedback
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality
- Follow Florece ABA policies, ethical standards, and professional expectations
- Work toward RBT certification if not already credentialed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with developmental differences preferred
- RBT certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Candidates without an RBT credential must be willing to work toward becoming an RBT
- Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are highly preferred
- Comfortable engaging in active, floor-based play with young children
- Energetic, patient, compassionate, and creative
- Ability to accept and implement feedback from supervising BCBAs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Ability to collect data and complete documentation consistently
