Qualifications:
Master s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
Speech Language Pathology License as issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners
Successful experience working with children is preferred
Registered and approved with NC Tracks preferred, will need prior to seeing clients
Role Overview: As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details:
Schedule: Flexible scheduling with the ability to create and manage your own client schedule.
Caseload: Caseload will grow gradually, beginning with approximately 2 3 clients and increasing each week as referrals are received.
Supervision: No SLPA supervision responsibilities required.
Location: Seeking one SLP for Shelby and one SLP for Concord. If you' re open to covering both areas, we' d love to hear from you! Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Assesses speech and language skills of children suspected of having a communication disorder
Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions
