Anderson Preparatory Academy's Launch Pad is seeking a passionate and collaborative Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, child-centered classroom inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. We are looking for an educator who values creativity, exploration, strong relationships, and inquiry-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Lead and support assistant teachers through collaboration and mentorship
- Observe, assess, and document children's growth and learning
- Use positive behavior guidance practices
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred
- CDA accepted or willingness to obtain
- Experience in early childhood settings required
- Reggio Emilia-inspired experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet all state licensing requirements and background checks
