    Job Summary:Primrose School teachers provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.  Teachers implement the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum while building strong relationships with children, families, and team members. Key Responsibilities:
    • Create and maintain a warm, positive, and respectful classroom environment
    • Implement Primrose's Balanced Learning Curriculum
    • Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that support early learning standards
    • Observe, document, and assess children's development and learning'
    • Build strong, professional relationships with families through daily communication
    • Maintain classroom schedules, routines, and transitions
    • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
    • Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging, classroom
    • Follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations
    • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
    • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to support classroom success

    Qualifications:
    • Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
    • High school diploma/GED required; experience preferred, but not required
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
