    Job Description

Your Day Building the Future Starts Here

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Overtime after 40 hours · On-call rotation with additional pay
    Location: [City, State]

    A Day in the Shop

7:00 AM — You clock in, open a fresh work order on your tablet, and T3 has already flagged a fault on a compact excavator. By 9:00 AM, you’ve verified the code, traced an intermittent electrical issue with OEM diagnostic software, and documented your steps right in T3. After lunch, a boom lift arrives with a hydraulic drift complaint; you isolate the cause using schematics and pressure readings, order parts, and help coordinate pick-up and delivery. Before the day ends, you take a few minutes to mentor a junior tech on safe torque procedures and best practices for diesel aftertreatment.

    What You'll Tackle

    • Independently diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems on rental and customer fleets — including aerial lifts
    • Interpret wiring and hydraulic schematics; utilize OEM and advanced diagnostic software to pinpoint root causes
    • Document findings, parts, and labor daily using T3 on a laptop/tablet for complete work order accuracy
    • Support logistics with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery as needed
    • Coach and develop junior technicians by sharing techniques, safety habits, and troubleshooting methods
    • [Field only: Travel to customer sites and maintain a professional service vehicle]

What Sets You Up for Success

    • Hands-on experience maintaining heavy equipment, aerial platforms, or diesel systems
    • Personal tool set appropriate for a shop technician
    • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics
    • Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record; 21+ to operate company vehicles

    Bonus Qualifications

    • Technical/trade school certificate or OEM-specific certifications
    • Familiarity with OSHA requirements
    • Experience across multiple equipment manufacturers

    Growth, Gear, and Good Stuff

    • Competitive pay with overtime after 40 hours
    • Medical, dental, and vision for full-time employees
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Generous PTO plus paid holidays
    • Tool and boot reimbursement (role dependent)
    • Year-round OEM training and industry-leading diagnostic tools
    • Gym membership stipend and wellness programs
    • Career advancement and leadership training
    • Monthly Family Dinner Night — dinner on us for you and your family *restrictions apply
    • 16 hours of paid volunteer time per year
