Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated EC3 Teacher Assistant to join our Early Childhood team. The ideal candidate will support our lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and faith-filled learning environment for our youngest students. This position can be either part-time or full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead EC3 teacher with daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, and classroom management.
Support students in their academic, social, and spiritual development.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities, including playtime and meals/snacks.
Foster a positive and nurturing relationship with students, parents, and staff.
Participate in professional development, and school events as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with young children (preferred but not required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team in a faith-centered environment.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
Must pass background checks, have all 20 clock hours, and comply with all diocesan and school safety requirements.
