Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Create or update schematic and PCB library symbols using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager.
  • Manage the necessary part parametric data in Siemens Xpedition EDM database and Siemens TeamCenter PLM.
  • Modify component symbols via engineering requests or ECO changes.
  • Assist engineering in process flow development or improvements.

A day in the life

As an ECAD Librarian, you will participate in the definition and creation of component electrical symbols and 3D mechanical models. You will contribute in all phases of the product development process including activities that involve maintenance of the component libraries. You will juggle priorities without losing sight of the customer and project schedules. You must bring a combination of industry knowledge, strong cross team functional experience, and demonstrable process experience to this position.
