Job Summary and Qualifications

*  This is a Full Time Day shift position, (4) 10 hour shifts and at least two weekend days per month.  Weekday call is required - call requirements must be within 30 minutes of facility * 

The Echo Tech II will work in the non-invasive cariology department and perform cardiac ultrasound to include, but not limited to, M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies and stress echocardiograms.  Studies will be performed on adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Technicians will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation, maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • College or technical training program, preferred
    • Registered in Adult Echo within 3 months of hire (RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer, RDMS-Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or RDCS-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
    • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross 
    • One year experience in Echocardiography, preferred
    • Apply a detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics
