Are you a skilled Echocardiographer passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advancing your career? We are seeking a highly qualified Echo Tech to provide expert cardiac ultrasound services, including adult echo, TEE, Doppler, and stress echocardiography, in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound, including adult echo and TEE. Pediatric echo and interventional TEE experience are a plus.
- Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer) credential through ARDMS or CCI.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting 2D/M Mode, Doppler, Color Flow imaging, and stress echocardiography.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and hemodynamics.
- Excellent communication skillsverbal and writtenand ability to present information professionally.
- Proficiency with medical software and web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to various patient populations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Pediatric echo and interventional TEE experience.
- Experience assisting with ultrasonic-guided interventional procedures.
- Additional certifications such as BLS from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience performing adult echocardiography, with specific expertise in TEE.
Other Requirements:
- Active BLS certification.
- Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 100 pounds with appropriate precautions.
- Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
- Valid licensure and certifications reimbursed when applicable.
- Travel or relocation assistance may be provided.
Compensation for this vital role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $81.47.
