Job Title: Cardiac Ultrasound Technician (Echo & TEE)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to deliver expert, personalized cardiac imaging services. In this vital role, you will perform advanced sonographic proceduresincluding adult echocardiograms, TEE, Doppler, and stress teststo support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Your expertise will help drive outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment, emphasizing quality, safety, and compassionate patient interactions.
Pay: $3,400 Weekly
Shift: 9:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac ultrasound experience, including adult echocardiograms and TEE procedures
- Proficiency in 2D/M Mode, Doppler, Color Flow imaging, Exercise Stress Echo, and Dobutamine Stress Echo
- Active RDCS registry through ARDMS or RCS registry through CCI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and hemodynamics
- Ability to identify stenosis or occlusion using nationally published criteria
- Competence in assisting physicians with ultrasonic-guided interventional procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competency in computer software and web-based applications
- Ability to work calmly under pressure with confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-directed with flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pediatric echo and interventional TEE experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours including extended shifts
- Ability to prepare, instruct, and educate patients on procedures
- Must meet physical demands, including lifting up to 100 pounds and exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and maintain cultural sensitivity
- Compliance with employers Privacy & Compliance standards, reporting any unethical conduct
