Job Title: Echo Technician – Contract
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate: Up to $3,201/week (Based on experience)
Shift Details: 40 Hours per Week | 5 Days per Week | 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Echo Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Perform M-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler, and color Doppler echocardiograms
• Conduct contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
• Complete echo worksheets and perform all required calculations accurately and timely
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients while addressing their physiological and anatomical needs
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort throughout examinations
• Assist cardiologists during procedures as needed
• Document all exams accurately in patient medical records
• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies
• Assist with training and mentoring students and fellows
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Maintain high professional ethics and standards of conduct
Requirements:
• Associate’s Degree required
• Bachelor of Science preferred
• Current Echocardiography Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Echo Technician experience required
• Current Registry status required
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
